**new update added to my review as of July, 2023. Please read through and through! ** I would first of all like to thank Mr. Larsen for all he has done for my kids and I! I had him back in 2016 in family court and then again in 2021. I come from a divorce caused by domestic violence. In 2016 I was served a motion to show cause, in which the respondent (ex) was requesting to restart reunification/supervised visits. Mr. Larsen helped ensure the supervised visits were followed in accordance with court orders. When they were not he brought the information to the courts attention along with the respondents lack of providing a clean drug test. Visits were suspended due to the respondents lack of following court orders. And I came out with a court order for more child support then I had originally been getting (when he wasn’t running from responsibility.) We were able to get an additional $90 towards child support arrears ordered for the amount the respondent would typically spend at the liquor store each month.. as evidenced by the financial records provided to the court. Mr. Larsen fought for my kids and what they deserved. Fast forward to 2021. I was once again served a motion to show cause to restart reunification/supervised visits. I chose to represent myself in the beginning. That was fine until I was made aware that my kids were once again subjected to abuse during supervised visits. I hired Mr. Larsen to represent us again. Through his representation and counsel in court visits were suspended following a dirty drug test, only to be reinstated through a clean drug test and to be therapeutic as opposed to supervised. We are so grateful for his representation over the years and his continued diligence in keeping our kids safe and away from abusive environments. He truly has the children’s best interests in mind and is able to speak with the court in a way in which they are able to see through evidence what is happening. **An update to my review, currently July 2023** We hired Ben again in March 2023. This would be our 3rd time working with him. All regarding custody and our kids and most recently adoption. We had been representing ourselves to begin the most recent legal proceedings but soon after felt we needed Ben on the case again. This time we believed we had an error in judgement and Ben knew exactly what we needed to say to get our case back on track. Dylan assisted a lot in our case and together they brought forth a 15 page document to fight the errored judgement. Something I’ve always appreciated about Ben is how he knows our family and dynamics. He jumped right in from where we left off and we succeeded in our case once again. We would never go to another lawyer should we ever need one again. He and Dylan knew relevant case law necessary in this action we have had to fight.
